Definition of Ragging
Ragging includes any act, conduct, or practice by which dominant power or status of senior students is brought to bear on new students with the intent to cause physical or psychological harm. This includes:
Physical abuse
Verbal abuse
Indecent behavior
Psychological harassment
Forcing to perform tasks or indulge in acts that cause shame or embarrassment
Anti-Ragging Committee
DIMT Law College has constituted an Anti-Ragging Committee comprising faculty members, administrative staff, and student representatives. The committee is responsible for:
Preventing ragging on campus
Creating awareness among students about the negative impacts of ragging
Taking immediate action on any reported cases of ragging
Providing counseling and support to victims of ragging
Reporting Ragging Incidents
We encourage students to report any incidents of ragging immediately. Reports can be made anonymously if preferred. Students can report ragging incidents through the following channels:
In-Person: Visit the Anti-Ragging Committee office located in the administrative block
Consequences of Ragging
Ragging is a criminal offense and will not be tolerated. The consequences for those found guilty of ragging can include:
Suspension from the college
Expulsion from the college
Cancellation of admission
Fine and/or imprisonment as per the laws of the state
Any other punishment deemed appropriate by the Anti-Ragging Committee
Support for Victims
DIMT Law College provides counseling and support services for victims of ragging. We are dedicated to ensuring the well-being of all our students and maintaining a respectful and dignified campus environment.

Regular monitoring and patrolling of campus areas
Awareness programs and workshops for students
